Intellectual property and notice-and-action
1. Our property
- The ECGT Ready name and logo are unregistered marks of Mathys Seynaeve, used in commerce since 2026 in the European Union. A trademark application is planned post-incorporation.
- The platform code, the user interface, the rule set, the scoring algorithm, the marketing copy, and the brand assets are protected by copyright and database right where applicable.
- You may not use our marks, logos, screenshots, or copy without prior written permission, except for fair editorial use (review, reporting, education).
2. Your property
You retain all rights in the customer data you upload and in the store content you submit to the scan engine. Use of the service does not transfer ownership. We hold a limited licence to host and process your data only as needed to run the service. See Terms of Service section 7.
3. Outputs of the scan engine
The risk score, the flagged-sentence list, and the suggested rewrites are generated to address the customer's store. The customer may use them for any lawful business purpose related to that store. We retain rights in the underlying tooling, prompts, and aggregated statistics, on a non-personal basis.
4. Notice-and-action (claims of infringement)
If you believe content hosted by ECGT Ready infringes a copyright, trademark, or other right of yours, send a written notice to contact@ecgtready.eu containing:
- Identification of the work or right infringed.
- The exact URL where the allegedly infringing content sits.
- Your contact details (name, role, email).
- A statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised.
- Your signature (electronic is fine).
We acknowledge within 5 business days. Where the notice is substantiated we remove or restrict access to the content and notify the user who posted it.
5. Counter-notice
If you posted content that has been removed and you believe the notice was wrong, send a counter-notice to contact@ecgtready.eu with:
- Identification of the removed content and where it was located.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact details.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the Luxembourg City courts.
6. Repeat infringers
Accounts that receive multiple substantiated notices are suspended and may be terminated. We keep records of notices and account actions for accountability.
7. Designated agent
Address for service of legal notices: contact@ecgtready.eu. Until the SARL-S is registered, postal notices may be addressed to the operator at Mamer, Luxembourg, with electronic copy required.
